Bench Voyage (Rejs łodzią) was produced during a residency through the Baltic Gallery of Contemporary Art (BGSW) in Ustka, Poland in 2018. The work borrows from the 1970 Polish film, Rejs (known in English as The Cruise, or A Trip Down the River), techniques from soviet-era experimental animation by Walerian Borowczyk and Chris Marker, and collages made in collaboration with young people experiencing disadvantage in the Słupsk region of northern Poland.
