Being Superman
2001
Self-shot video of wearing a childhood mask of Superman, looking side to side. Two slightly staggered copies of the video are played back on identical (in size and make) black and white CRT television sets. Two plane mirrors, set ninety degrees to one another, are placed between the television sets to produce a third moving image. A plastic facade is placed in front of the objects/images.
Exhibited as part of FASS (St.Mary’s University Gallery, Halifax, Nova Scotia).
